The original wavejunkies are a group from Virginia Beach, VA interested in big air by launching off VB waves. But this site has grown and will hopefully continue to grow to include surf and flatwater enthusiasts from around the globe. If we want the x-games and sponsored events it can only happen by building a large populous.
