What a great weekend fellas. Phil, Penny, Becca, Dan, Cameron, and Carissa all caravanned down from Richmond. Landon, Vanessa, Brian, Bryce, Wilkey, Lucke, and Robbie did the caravan from Va Beach with the skis for the guys who flew down - CJ, Torr, Dan, and kinda me . Us and Scott and Jena all drove up from here. It was cool having several of the junkies all together again.

The event was great. Lots of cool skis and cool riders. It was too much fun hanging out with all the junkies again. Miss yall already Thurs-Saturday were all pretty messy with a strong current and mostly 2-5ft waves and cold. Sunday and Monday were much nicer and 1-4ft clean waves. I think Pete won sickest trick for a one-handed one-footed backflip! Bryce won a complete setup of the new adjustable xmetal pole system in the raffle! I don't think they did a cherry buster.

I saw all the junkies step it up at yet another event, it was awesome watching the energy everyone had. Props
-Bryce is looking good on the sj with some great surf slashes (I remembered to check for him on the water before rinsing anything off in the water this time)
-Wilkey was going huge on backies and rolls, must've popped out a hundred each
-Craig laid down some serious blaster backflips Thursday and Friday that left the whole beach talking about them the rest of the weekend!
-Torr stepped it up with some wannanuthins and some nice surf style and good hangtime on the reentries
-Phil threw several 3/4 barrel rolls that looked promising the first couple days and he started hitting plate to plate Sunday
-BS is getting some sweet air, maybe even 30ft I think I heard?
-CJ didn't quite hit plate to plate but he pulled out of a couple roll attempts by the end of the weekend. His ski was finally hitting in the surf I'm sure that didn't hurt.
-Jena was back on a blaster for the first time since wavedaze 07 on her new ski.
-I started some supermans on the blaster but need to work on them some. Also perfected the beach-landing-leapfrog-over-the-handlebars and rode out of it this year
-Dan's starting to try and pull those legs back for an extended superman but for now has about perfected the blasterspasm.
-Cameron from Richmond threw a couple backflips his first time out in the surf!
-Landon's and Lucke's skis were broke most of the weekend.

Thanks a million Dan and Torr for letting me abduct yalls skis for hours all weekend. Both skis are setup great and Dan's Team Scream 760 hits hard! Thanks Jena for cooking and organizing dinner and lunch most day. And Scott for helping with the gear and cart.

Sorry if I missed anything, just trying to recap the weekend off the top of my head.  I wish the rest of yall coulda made it, you were missed!

Oh dude, Go Karts was almost as fun as the freeride, we need to do a junkie go kart freeride trip sometime. $70 for eight of us to ride for what two hours! The after party at Arena was pretty much off the hook and I'll leave it at that!
